Celebrate Suhba Summit

In February, twenty-five members of the Engaging Worlds team traveled from around the world to gather together for our Suhba Summit. This was the FIRST time our team met in person, and it was AMAZING! 

We all came from different regions, countries, and contexts, but were united around the desire to see more Muslims grow spiritually and be transformed by the words of scripture in the context of a life-altering community. Amidst our differences, we felt the togetherness and unity that only God can bring.

During this summit, we had the opportunity to hear about how God is moving in each of these regions. We grew, learned, and brainstormed alongside one another, encouraging each other to continue pouring into the lives of the Muslims around us. 

While walking through the story of Abraham, we were reminded of the impact of Godward obedience and sacrifice. This spurred us on to reflect on where our obedience is lacking, where sacrifice is needed, and to have confidence in the God who can move mountains with just a mustard seed of faith. 

Thank you for praying for this Summit. Please continue to pray with us that what we learned at this Summit would be put into practice in each of our team members' lives, encouraging them personally and helping them to make an even greater impact in their unique contexts. Pray that more Muslims would get involved in Muslim Community Groups and encounter the life-transforming, hope-giving God of scripture.
